Our Beliefs

We believe that God has revealed himself through the Bible as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that He sent his only son Jesus to show us the way to God and how to live in relationship with Him. Because Jesus was willing to die for our sins, we are no longer bound by the same empty patterns of life but we can experience salvation through faith in Him. Through this relationship we find peace that the world can't provide, purpose for living and the hope of eternal life. Becoming a Christian is not about religion, but about living in relationship with God through obedience to His Word & following His waysin community with other believers.

our staff

Rev. Dale MacDonald has been pastoring at Woodstock Wesleyan...well...forever. He has been loyally serving the church for 36 years. During that time, he has also been loyally cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has been helped along by his love for coffee, his wife Sherry, and their 2 kids, Jessica & Jody. Dale & Sherry are new grandparents, too, so you if you have a few spare hours, ask them about that.

Rev. Neil Horner , his wife Heidi, and their 2 girls, Ella (14) and Eden (12) have been in our church for 18 years, and Neil oversees both worship and connections ministries. Neil enjoys good coffee, & is a devoted follower of the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Raptors, and...Dave Ramsey. I see the connection, don't you?

Caleb MacCallum is our Next Generations Pastor, coming to us in 2019 from Kingston, ON. He is a lover of coffee and running. He has run the Moncton marathon twice and hopes to one day run a marathon in another country. Hockey continues to be his favourite sport along with his loyal commitment to the Toronto Maple Leafs, who say that “this year is looking up.”

Karen Hopkins is in her 13th year as our administrative assistant. She and her husband, Charles, have 4 children and 5 beautiful grandkids. Karen (not Charles) also has a dog, Cooper. If you're looking for information on what's happening, want to sign up for an event, or just want to talk shop about motorcycles, then give Karen a call!
